I appreciate the pun, but as someone who did go to the arcades when that game was current, the etiquette that was well understood by everyone (even if after violating it once) is that if there's a line, you do not do that. Also, a way to signal that people are waiting to play is for those in the queue to put quarters on the screen's bezel; the number of coins = the number of people in line.
